Aerodynamics: Lift & Stall

Objective

Master the relationship between Angle of Attack (AoA) and Lift Coefficient.

As you increase the **Angle of Attack**, lift increases linearly up to a critical point called CLmax.

Beyond this point, the airflow separates from the wing surface, causing a sudden loss of lift. This is a Stall.

Experiment:

  • Set Thrust to 75%.
  • Increase AoA slowly to 15°.
  • Observe the Lift Vector.
  • Push past 15° and watch what happens.
